This story dealt with heavy subject matter in such a beautiful way. Peyton Prescott’s life has been completely changed following a battle with breast cancer. Through her treatment she wrote a book and now the book is being published. Before cancer she was a travel blogger and now she feels lost because she doesn’t feel like she can go back to that, but she also doesn’t know where she should go now.
In the meantime, she is stuck doing a book tour that is forcing her to relive all of her experiences. Her publicist Mitch Mathis is very type A to Peyton’s type B personality. They challenge each other and really work well together. I enjoyed watching their romance slowly grow. There was plenty of sexual tension in this story and Mitch could not have been more respectful and understanding of Peyton’s reservations.
This book is about living in the now and trying your best to live in the moment and enjoy where you are. Do things that bring you joy and take chances. An overall enjoyable read about love and self growth.
